2002 31 Contender Open center console salt water fishing boat for sale in Rockledge, Florida.  Twin 2017 Suzuki 300’s with low hours. 2016 aluminum AmeraTrail tandem axel trailer.  Custom top. New isinglass at helm.  Turn key ready (and while all the electronics function as they should, consider updating).  When not being fished always kept inside storage.  Very good example of a classic go fast fishing platform.

18 years with same owners, new boat on the way,   this classic well maintained 2002 31 Contender Open center console salt water fishing boat is offered for immediate sale. Theft of original engines in April 2017 is why there are new twin 2017 Suzuki 300’s, fly by wire.  240 hours, service at 50 and 100.  3 blade stainless props.  Cruise 35-40mph, WOT 58.  Tabs were upgraded. New JL head, amp, subwoofer and speakers added. New isinglass with wings added.  Underwater transom lighting.
When not being fished always kept inside storage.  Very good example of a classic go fast fishing platform. During walk thru it was obvious well maintained by owners. Cushions and combing pads show wear, less than expected on a 20 year old vessel, assume because stored inside.  Gel coat fair to good, very minor chip at bow, a bit of rash port side above keel.  No bottom paint, the blue is original.
 
Custom top with 10 rod holders, Taco outriggers, Fureno open aray radar. Powder coating in very good condition with just a few minor bubbles.  Softtop has netting storage for PFDs.

Fishing cockpit area behind helm tackle center. 9' plus beam gives wide open feel.  Two in deck fish boxes, salt and fresh water wash down, 2 large live bait wells at transom. Fold down transom seat. Transom door on starboard.  
 
Simple bench leaning post, Suzuki digital gauges. Navnet (2002) and newer small Garmin. New isinglass with wings in front of helm.  Turn key ready (and while all the electronics function as they should, consider updating). 
 
Console opens from front. Second VHF (ICOM), Epirb, battery mains. The head was removed for additional storage (head plumbing still in place).  Forward two in deck fish boxes, recessed bow rail and broad gunwales forward make for a virtually perfect fishing platform.  New JL speakers. Anchor locker at bow.
